Her warm husky alto voice is very distinctive and versatile in many styles from hard Rock to soothing Love Ballads. She studied music at school and completed her studies with Trinity Schools in classical singing with Distinctions. She has also studied Jazz, Popular Voice and Acting as part of her Bachelor of Social Sciences degree at the University of Natal. Jess was also a  top 50 finalist in the 2007 season of Idols South Africa. Jess also plays keyboard and acoustic guitar.

Don is incredible on Bass and Guitar. He has played for several established South African Bands, namely Shakta, Just Jinger and Highway Jam, which gained him invaluable experience – performing at Large-scale Concerts and Big Stages. In 2004 he played for the band White Buzz, who won the Battle of the Bands in London, demolishing their competition. Donovan has a strong clear baritone voice which gives the Duo an extra facet.
